SELFLESSNESS
Webster dictionary defines the word helplessness as 'having or showing great concern for other people and little or no concern for yourself.' I read in my bible the words of Jesus when He was addressing his disciples thus; 'greater love has no man than this, that a man should lay down his life for his friends. He did not just say it but practically demonstrated it by giving himself to be condemned to death and the result was men and women were born into the kingdom of God. Lack of selflessness today in the society has resulted in many evils in the family level, local level, states level, national levels and of course the entire universe. I think one has not actually lived until he has lived his life for others. I have seen situations where states and nations have been impoverished for the lack of selflessness.
